How did we choose these agencies?

Not scraped from other people's rankings. Here is the actual sequence, and what was thrown away at each step.

Build the pool from the service, not the industry

The buyer has already chosen answer engine optimization; cybersecurity is the qualifier. The pool was built first from firms with a real AEO or GEO practice across practitioner discussion, agency directories, review platforms, and unaffiliated roundups. Frequency across sources a firm does not own was treated as the signal, which surfaced more than twenty candidates.

Filter for who can do it in cybersecurity

Case studies — Named security clients, their sub-categories, and whether a number is attached. Published security artifacts count more than a logo.

Entity presence — Declared industry surface, directories, review platforms, trade coverage, and consistent naming. Self-published listicle placement counts zero.

Community and rating — Practitioner communities, independent reviews, and measured citation on the prompts a security buyer types.

Review what remained

Firms that passed the industry test but failed the service test were kept out of the ranked ten because they are cybersecurity marketing or PR agencies without a documented answer engine practice. Four previously ranked firms fell below the line when the weighting was applied consistently; their records remain in below_the_line. Scores are published in the methodology only, as the residue of the process rather than a reason on their own.

What the community check found

Almost nothing. No Reddit thread, practitioner forum, or security marketing community in the reviewed evidence names any of these agencies as the cybersecurity answer. That absence is reported rather than hidden because community advocacy is the largest unclaimed signal in this category.

The correction worth naming

An earlier version of this list was assembled substantially from other agencies' roundups. Rebuilding the pool from the service side added four firms that had never appeared and removed four that had been ranked. The way the candidate pool was built produced the change, not the scoring model.

What answer engine services does each firm actually provide?

Twenty service lines down the side, ten firms across the top, with a count of how many treat each service as core.

AgencyTooling and IPRelationship to SEO
MaximusLabs.aiIn-house workflows plus free public tools — AI crawlability checker, llms.txt generator, content optimizer. No named proprietary platform.AEO-first. SEO is treated as one input the engines sample rather than the parent discipline.
First Page SagePublished frameworks rather than a proprietary platform. Agentic search optimisation is sold as a named service with an openly published framework.SEO-parent. GEO and AEO are a mature practice built on a seventeen-year content and authority operation.
iPullRankProprietary Relevance Score and the Relevance Engineering framework.Technical-SEO parent, elevated into information retrieval engineering. GEO is treated as a retrieval problem rather than a content problem.
TripleDartSlate — proprietary platform for content structuring, schema, automated refresh and LLM citation tracking. Plus contextual knowledge engines and AI-assisted topic clustering.Unified. Traditional authority building and generative optimisation run as one system.
GrackerAIThe platform itself is the tooling — an autonomous cybersecurity content generation system.GEO-first, built on an SEO-structured output format. SEO is the delivery mechanism rather than the parent discipline.
Omniscient DigitalCustom software tracking brand messaging and sentiment mismatches at the buying stage, plus the OmniscientX methodology and the Surround Sound framework.Content and SEO parent with GEO built on top, on the argument that topical authority is what gets software brands cited.
LoudFaceNo named proprietary platform; Webflow as the build environment.Integrated. SEO foundations, AEO content and CRO run as one growth system rather than parallel engagements.
OmniusAtomic AGI for AI search visibility tracking, SEO data analysis, site auditing and optimisation automation. Stack includes GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, Mixpanel and Segment.Multi-engine by design: traditional SEO, programmatic SEO and generative optimisation treated as one system.
GraphiteIn-house AI content platform plus a separately sold AEO tracking product.Fully integrated. The stated position is that great SEO is free AEO, and offsite is the real difference.
NoGoodProprietary AI-visibility technology, not publicly named.Growth-marketing parent. AEO and SEO are components of a multi-channel programme rather than the organising discipline.

How much do they know about cybersecurity, and who have they written against?

Whether the firm declares a security practice, whether anyone has measured it on security buyer prompts, and which competitive sets it has worked.

Which firms were researched but not ranked?

Researched in full, below the line on this weighting.

FirmCapability /70Industry /30Why it falls short here
Amplifyedamplifyed.io3025Not one published number. No case study figures, no measurement stack, no pricing, no process documentation. A procurement team will find the roster convincing and the evidence file empty.
Platypusplatypusseo.com3612Nothing verifiable. No named clients, no reviews on any platform, no published outcomes, no founding year, no team size, no location, no pricing. A strong argument with an empty evidence file.
NOLA Marketingnolamarketing.com1824Hundreds of clients, zero published numbers, no measurement stack, no review profile, and untracked on the one leaderboard that measures the thing it sells. Strong bench, unproven AEO practice.
REQreq.co1411Search and AEO are a component of a brand practice rather than the discipline itself. No named clients, no published outcomes, no AI measurement, no pricing. Outside the federal case it is the wrong tool.
